Term 2, Week 9, 2023 School Newsletter
News from the Principal
Dear Families,
We have made it to the last day of Term 2. It has been a busy couple of weeks, with teachers getting Semester One reports ready for families to access, parent teacher conferences and finalising of work across each cuurriculum area.
Our 2 ACU student teachers, Emma and Amy have been kept busy with the week's learning. We have enjoyed having them here with us at our school and their hard work and time spent with the children will be missed. We enjoyed to sharing their learning journey for the last week.
School will conclude today Friday, 23rd June at 1.15pm. There will be an assembley at 1.00pm and I look forward to seeing you all there. Term 3 will commence on Monday, 10th July at 8.50am.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, stay safe and warm and enjoy time spent with loved ones. A reminder that Our Patch will be running a fantastic holiday program for any families that require care during this time, please contact them directly to book your children in. See the program below.
A reminder that we have Rapid Antigen Tests available in the school foyer. I appreciate families testing and keeping home children who are feeling unwell and test positive, keeping our school safe.

Our Patch School Holiday Program
Dear Lord
Thank you for this holiday,
an extra chance for fun and play.
There's so much I can learn and do,
even if I'm not at school.
All the beauty and gifts abound,
the world you created is all around.
Today's a chance to go explore,
try new things and discover more.
I'll miss my teacher and my friends,
just as happens on weekends.
But I know that for today,
I'm thankful for this holiday!
Have a fantastic break St Patrick's Community!
We look forward to welcoming you back for Term 3.
Congratulations to our very own Freddie O'Donnell, for his outstanding entry in the Prep to Grade 2 catergory in the Moorabool Young Writers competition.
We are very proud of your achievements!!

Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is key to our strong sense of community across the School. There are many threads to the programme – both formal and informal – and all have the intention of addressing the well-being of each student at their individual point of need.
Vivian Lunt is the Pastoral Care Worker at our school. She is a qualified and a very professional and caring Pastoral Care Worker employed at our school every Thursday.
Vivian works with individual children on request, small groups and parents and families as required. All interactions remain strictly confidential.
If any family would like to access this service, either for themselves personally or their child, please contact the school office to arrange an appointment with Vivian.
