Term 3, Week 3, 2023 School Newsletter
News from the Principal
Dear Families,
What a week we have had. We welcomed back Mrs J from her European adventures and enjoyed hearing about all the wonderful days she had in the warm sunshine!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful community again for all of your support of our school last week when we had the unplanned power outage. It is evident that we are part of a generous and giving community. Likewise with our grounds transforming with the wonderful work of familes in the garden and parents and grandparents building new play areas for students. Some of you are assisting behind the scenes and some are out there, shovel in hand. Thankyou to Brendan (BJ), Luke Burbergs and Gary for your ongoing work at present.
A reminder that school photos will take place next Wednesday 2nd August. Please contact MSP Photography on 533 5577 for any questions or support with ordering.
I am away all of next week and I thank Miss Fiona and Mrs J for assisting families with any pressing issues. Please don't heistate to contact them or the office for any assistance for anything that may pop up for you or your family.
Paul

A big congratulations to our newest School Captain, Angela Tran and Vice Captain, Eva Pamic.

They are two trusted and familiar students around our school and we wish you both well with your new leadership roles.

Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is key to our strong sense of community across the School. There are many threads to the programme – both formal and informal – and all have the intention of addressing the well-being of each student at their individual point of need.
Vivian Lunt is the Pastoral Care Worker at our school. She is a qualified and a very professional and caring Pastoral Care Worker employed at our school every Thursday.
Vivian works with individual children on request, small groups and parents and families as required. All interactions remain strictly confidential.
If any family would like to access this service, either for themselves personally or their child, please contact the school office to arrange an appointment with Vivian.
